I was really into pachinko and pachislot until about five or six years ago. However, since then, although I very rarely play, I have basically quit. I think this is a miraculously great achievement.
Recently, however, ever since I won 500,000 yen in Numbers 4 last year, I have gradually become more inclined toward lottery games. The amount I spend per month is around 10,000 to 20,000 yen, which is still less than what I used to lose on pachinko.
However, if I don’t maintain control and balance, it could end up being just another form of gambling. So, I think it would be best to mix Loto 6 and Numbers 4, buying tickets twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, with a budget of 1,000 yen per session.
After all, lotteries are a game of chance with odds around 1 in 10,000, so it’s only natural not to win. With this plan, I would be spending around 8,000 yen per month (twice a week, four weeks in total), which I believe is reasonable as a hobby.
With that in mind, I will make an effort to refrain from purchasing lottery tickets on any other days.
