Farm Work

I’ve stayed up late again tonight, living a life where my days and nights are reversed. Tomorrow, I have the task of trimming the overgrown branches of the kiwi plants in the field. Working in the field was my father’s hobby, but recently he’s become bedridden, and the field has been left mostly untended. So now, I have to take on the responsibility of maintaining it. Although I don’t actually do any farming, I do things like mowing the grass to keep it tidy and in its current condition. I often wonder about the future of this land, what will eventually become of it—that’s also something on my mind.
