I have a lot of cavities. At the age of 52, I think I have quite a few. I have a bad habit of not brushing my teeth right after eating. For example, I’ll have dinner and then fall asleep from exhaustion without brushing, or I’ll eat some sweets during the day and then fall asleep without brushing my teeth, only to regret it later. Unfortunately, this happens repeatedly. As a result, it seems I have numerous small cavities throughout my teeth. The dentist I’m currently seeing keeps treating them one after another, and I’m worried about when they’ll ever be fully healed. Recently, I’ve had several major treatments, including nerve extractions and building foundations for crowns. If I end up needing implants, that would be a real problem. Apparently, each implant costs around 400,000 yen. I really need to be more careful from now on and make sure to brush my teeth properly.
